TRAINING SOLUTION TO DELIVER, TEST & CERTIFICATE THE COMPTIA NETWORK+ QUALIFICATION The new Leading Engineering Technician (Weapons Engineer) (Communications Information Systems) Specialist (LET(WE)(CIS) Spec) career course has been mapped to the Level 4 Unified Communications Troubleshooter (L4 UCTS) Apprenticeship Standard. This standard requires a professional qualification to be undertaken. The RN have decided to use a CompTIA Network+ qualification to meet this requirement. Only part of the CompTIA Network+ qualification syllabus is delivered during the course pipeline training and there is a requirement for an external training provider to deliver the remaining elements of the qualification to aid certification to all RN personnel for a period of 4 years from start of delivery. In order to not disadvantage legacy ratings, there is also a requirement to provide an optional on-line solution to deliver the CompTIA Network+ qualification training and certification for a period of 12 months, from start of delivery.
