Tender description

Provision of security services for Swansea Bay Field Hospital. Lot 1: During the construction of the Bay Field Hospital, Security was arranged by the Building contractors on site. The current supplier was undertaking the service during the construction of Swansea Bay Field Hospital. Following the handover of the site to the Health Board, management asked for the services to continue due to the site being unoccupied overnight and the contractor having significant knowledge of the site. An SBAR and STA were signed off to authourise this. A Value for money test was made with engagement in the market identifying that the current contractor being significantly lower cost than other providers.
