HMP Barlinnie BEMS Upgrade

Tender description

This project shall provide for the design, supply and installation of an extension to the site wide Trend BEMS to cover the monitoring and reporting of various items of plant (including standby generators, water mains and water storage tank) and systems (LTHW heating system) that are currently detached from the system. A Trend accredited Trend Technology Centre installer (providing evidence to this effect) to undertake BEMS modification works. The project shall be carried out at HMP Barlinnie. The scope of works has been established for the purpose of extending the overall site coverage of the BEMS to improve the operation of the building services systems and allow more timely responses to any alarms or reported issues. The Trend controls specialist shall provide the full design, supply, installation, commissioning and control/monitoring of all new equipment and sensors including the updating of the BEMS operational graphics to represent the new installation and the associated sensors. The SPS has commenced this procurement process in good faith and with the intention of awarding a contract. Following publication of the Contract Notice, an Invitation to Tender (ITT) including the Single Procurement Document (SPD) will be published by SPS and will be made available to bidders. Tender responses will then be evaluated by the SPS in accordance with the ITT.
