<p>The Government of Jersey (the "Contracting Authority") has launched its Inspiring Active Places Strategy (the "Strategy"), an ambitious investment plan in the Islands public sport and wellbeing facilities. The Strategy sets out a 10-year plan for investing over &pound;100m creating a range of Sport and Wellbeing facilities across the island to replace an ageing sporting estate. As a part of implementing the Strategy, the Contracting Authority is seeking to procure and appoint a specialist contractor (the "Contractor") that will design, procure, assembly and complete an elite-athlete high-performance artificial turf pitch ("ATP") and associated works, including groundworks, sub-soil drainage, surrounding sports fence, line marking, sports equipment, and some structural walls (the "Works") for the new sports centre at Oakfield. The Contractor will initially enter into an agreement with the Contracting Authority. The agreement with the Contracting Authority for the Works will contain obligations for design and construction liabilities, including tolerances and performance standards required, insurances and collateral warranties. The Works are being supported through the Government of Jersey's Fiscal Stimulus Fund.</p> <p>Prospective contractors are to email the completed confidentiality undertaking to nathan.woodland@colinsmith.co.uk prior to the ITT being released.&nbsp;</p> Keywords: ATP
