Tender description

The scope of this Procurement is Funeral Services for deceased patients who do not have a next of kin to organise their funeral. The contract also includes the cost of funerals following miscarriage and stillbirth and the transporting of deceased between hospital sites. The BCA (Black Country Alliance) Procurement department will be undertaking this exercise on behalf of both The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust. The anticipated contractual period is an initial 2 year duration with the option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months. Please ensure you are a registered supplier on the Bravo tendering portal (https://www.nhssourcing.co.uk/web/login.html) to ensure your inclusion in the future tender provision. Interested suppliers are requested to submit the below information via an email titled "Funeral Services - Expression of Interest" to the Procurement lead prior to 12:00 noon 22nd October 2021: - Supplier Name - Key Contact; Name, Role, Email address, Telephone number - Confirmation of registration on the Bravo tendering portal; to include registered name and key email contact on the portal Closing date for Expressions of Interest is again 12:00 noon 22nd October 2021.
