The Comptroller and Auditor General (through NIAO) is responsible for the financial audit of Northern Ireland public sector bodies. His work also includes Value For Money studies. NIAO contracts out roughly 30% of its work to external providers. NIAO wishes to procure external financial audit services for public bodies in central government and the health sector. Lot 1: Sector 1 (Lot 1)- Central Government Provision of statutory external financial audit services to central government and arms length bodies in NorthernIreland. Additional information: The Central Government Sector comprises 8 (Eight) Central Government public bodies with 8 (Eight) accounts. The Authority is seeking to allocate these bodies over 2 (Two) Lots. Lot 2: Sector 1 (Lot 2)- Central Government Provision of statutory external financial audit services to central government and arms length bodies in NorthernIreland.
