Tender description
The main aim for the purchase of a Self-Propelled Forage Harvester (SPFH) is to enhance student learning and the image of CAFRE, the purchase of a Modern up to date machine will prepare students for a wider range of jobs, increase student knowledge and facilitate learning outcomes in a range of units delivered in the Land Based Engineering Course. Within the Machinery and Buildings Centre at Greenmount, it was recognised that there was a requirement modern up to date machines such as the proposed SPFH. This will promote best practise and encourage the students to develop skills and knowledge when they are qualified and in employment.
