Award of the Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of a Self-Propulsion Dynamometer and Rudder Load Cell Hydrodynamic Testing Rig The University of Strathclyde has awarded a contract for the detailed design, supply, delivery and commissioning of a self-propulsion dynamometer and rudder load cell hydrodynamic testing rig. The rig will be used to conduct self-propulsion tests with a ship model using an accurate propeller dynamometer and twin rudders with load cells that can measure the force and moments acting on the rudder blades, which can be actuated, using load balances.
