Security and Key Holding Services for Gloucestershire County Council

Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) are looking to set up a Framework for the provision of Security and Key Holding Services. The Framework is expected to commence on 1st August 2021. GCC are procuring the Framework as a lead purchasing body for other public bodies to use, and other district authorities and schools within Gloucestershire. The current key holding and security contract provides a number of security services for Gloucestershire County Council (GCC). The contract currently covers 159 GCC Corporate properties including schools and libraries. The contract includes, but not limited to the following services: • Annual key holding service; • Emergency response for security & fire alarm activation; • Call off contract for security service for ad hoc guards; • Open up and lock up service plus reactive security service; • Security for unoccupied/disposal sites – mobile patrol. . Lot 1: The contract includes, but not limited to the following services: • Annual key holding service; • Emergency response for security & fire alarm activation; • Call off contract for security service for ad hoc guards; • Open up and lock up service plus reactive security service; • Security for unoccupied/disposal sites – mobile patrol. The Framework Agreement will be in place for a period of three (3) years commencing on 1st August 2021 and ending on 31st July 2024. During that period the Authority will call off services (using an Order Form) for a contract for a maximum term of three (3) years also commencing on 1st August 2021 and ending on 31st July 2024. Any named interested parties may also call-off services during the term of the Framework Agreement for a maximum term of three (3) years.
