<p>Trafford Children&rsquo;s Services are developing a new model for the provision of Early Help/Early Years services that; - Builds on the strengths of children, families and communities. - Has a clear focus on early intervention and prevention. - Relies heavily on multi agency and partnership working. The model aims to; - Provide the right help, the right time, and the right way for families and children. - Prevent families from &lsquo;bouncing between&rsquo; services, by providing them with a coordinated response across health, social care and education, and where necessary referring children and families onto other services, such as housing, mental health and youth offending. - Support more families and children in strong resilient communities and reduce referrals into Children&rsquo;s Social Care by preventing issues escalating and being re-referred into the system, thereby reducing demand and improving outcomes for children and families. Within the overall approach there is a recognition that the VCFSE sector has a key role to play in improving outcomes for children and families in Trafford. To reflect this recognition Trafford Council is funding 2 new roles, VCFSE Family Workers to be located within the sector, as part of the overall Trafford team Together.</p> Keywords: VCSFE, Community, Families, Children, Early Years, Early Help
