Primary Preventative Placements Pilot - AWARD

Tender description

The Council is seeking to work with Dudley schools, academies and external providers to procure full time Primary Preventative Placements for children, living in Dudley who are at risk of permanent exclusion. These placements would be for children who had been identified through Dudley's Inclusive Pathway and who are currently unsuccessful in accessing a mainstream classroom learning environment. They require an alternative type of provision, with an appropriate and relevant curriculum including some specific intervention work to build self-regulation, resilience and emotional health and well-being. The placements will be short term (up to two terms / 25 weeks) and the children will be dual registered remaining on the register of their home school. The vast majority of children will return back to their home school at the end of the placement. The minority, following the outcome of any EHCP assessment may be placed in a different setting.
