Maintenance and technical support for the operation of high frequency environmental monitoring stations

Tender description

The Marine Institute, a semi State body, wishes to invite tenders for the supply of maintenance and technical support for the operation of high frequency environmental monitoring stations in Newport, Co. Mayo. At present a requirement exists in 1 Lot, for which tenders are invited, for the maintenance and technical support (annual onsite maintenance service, online and phone, technical upgrades, installation of new sensors etc) of a network of high resolution (high frequency) remote monitoring stations (6) locations located in the Burrishoole catchment, Newport, Co. Mayo. The Institute is currently using a bespoke network of six instrument platforms developed over a suite of projects. These are “stand alone” platforms communicating with a central computer via landline or GSM telecomms. Responses to this tender should be for the mainteneance and support of the current system as described within the invitation to Tender. This is an Open Invitation to Tender where suitably qualified applicants are invited to respond for inclusion in a Single Supplier Framework Agreement for the supply of maintenance and technical support for the running of the high resolution water quality monitoring stations in Newport, Co. Mayo.
