Tender description

This Contract for the Centre for Climate and Air Pollution Studies (C-CAPS) at NUI Galway is for the inspection, repairs, certification and maintenance of lattice towers housing atmospheric and meterological measurement instruments at Mace Head Research Station, Carna, Co. Galway. Currently there are two guyed alluminium walk up lattice towers at Mace Head Research Station, which have platforms to facilitate atmospheric and meteorological instruments. NUI Galway wish to engage the services of a Contractor to carry out regular inspections, necessary repairs and maintenance on the towers, and to certify that the towers are structurally sound and safe to climb.
