UKRI is sponsored by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and supports activities and events that inspire and engage people and promote positive climate action. Gamification is one approach to increasing public engagement with climate research and we are keen to explore the ways in which it provides a way of reaching audiences who are currently less engaged with research and innovation, specifically on the themes of COP26.
