Constant Energy Ltd invites written tenders from competent individuals, companies or consortia with skill working with Teams in renewable energy and green research, rural development and community engagement. Knowledge of Ireland's Climate change position and the European Green Deal roadmap. Provide project coordination for empowering communities in the green transition. This project aims to help Ireland come one step closer to becoming climate-neutral by 2050 as renewable energy replaces fossil fuels. The purpose shall be achieved through: Educating the community on renewable energy Sewing the seed to encourage a climate-neutral mentality Why and how going green benefits communities Defining and implementing communications required to facilitate behavioural change Empowering communities to go green Understanding Mayo's natural resources in renewable energy and utilizing them. Actions, projections and initiatives will target 5 core areas for transition. Energy Mobility Ecology Economy People The role will involve setting out a roadmap for Mayo Green Hydrogen Renewable Energy Project, keeping in line with Mayo's climate neutral target by 2030. Coordinating and engaging with local authorities to bring about its identification. It is envisioned there will be two parts to the Green Hydrogen Project. Renewable energy from wind and solar farms in North Mayo, fed to the green hydrogen facility at Bellacorrick. A large focus will be on the community empowerment from the bottom up. Finally help focus Government policy top down and the provision of physical infastructure. The consultant will be required to #Establish and understand the potential for renewable energy and green hydrogen in the context of surrounding communities under the core areas of energy, mobility, economy, ecology and people.
