HENRY Wellbeing Programme

Tender description

In line with NICE guidance on supporting mental health within the family, if children are under 12 years old then HENRY offers support to their parents. We propose a multi-layered approach in Waltham Forest, with the service target primarily at parents with children aged 0 to 5 and delivered principally online via video call platforms. We will also offer face-to-face groups in each Children & Family Centre locality to offer parents a choice of how, when and where to access support: • HENRY Buddies – a 1-to-1 support service via telephone or video call for vulnerable parents who would benefit from individual support • Family wellbeing programme – our structured 4-session group Family wellbeing programme, focused specifically on improving whole-family wellbeing – starting with parents. • Signposting – as appropriate to a range of self-help resources (e.g. HENRY website, Start4Life) and relevant local services
