NOTE: This notice was updated on 03 September 2021 for the following reason: The type of procedure is 'open' not 'accelerated negotated'.(LUV01022 STAR Machining Suite The Space Technology Applications from Research (STAR) project at the University of Leicester requires a machining suite consisting of milling and turning machines, suitable for the manufacture of precision components made from various grades of Stainless Steels/Steels, Aluminium Alloys, Brass, Copper and other materials. The suite is to support a wide range of research groups and projects within the STAR project, to produce components of high accuracy for space flight and other areas of Engineering based research. The University proposes awarding a contract to a single supplier for a suitable suite by carrying out a tender exercise. The contract is part funded by a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) grant award.)
