Domestic Abuse, Emotional Wellbeing Stakeholder Engagement

Tender description

As part of Essex County Council's work, with regards to implementing our duties under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, we have completed a needs assessment to identify the needs of victims of domestic abuse who reside within safe accommodation. Psychological and emotional wellbeing needs were present in nearly half of all victims. We want to ensure all DA victims have access to the right emotional wellbeing support at the right time in their journey. We are currently in the early stages of shaping our response to this issue and are seeking a wide range of view-points. We are therefore holding two stakeholder engagement events on 22/09/2021. The other will be one session held virtually in the afternoon. At these sessions we will seek feedback on the work we have done so far, including our understanding of the issue and would welcome discussions from a range of stakeholders with an interest in this area.
