Tender description

The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, through the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), is implementing an EU LIFE funded raised bog restoration project ‘The Living Bog’ ( www.raisedbogs.ie ) across 12 raised bog Special Area of Conservation (SAC) sites. As part of this project the Minister invites tenders from economic operators for the development of amenity provisions within four raised bog SAC sites. This will include the installation of boardwalks / bog bridges, the upgrade of existing trackways and associated tasks such as fencing, parking / access provision and the erection of information signage.
