Tender description

Cork City Council will procure a suitably qualified buildings archaeologist, with industrial heritage experience, and conservation engineer/architect to prepare a management plan for the site to include a statement of significance which will generate an understanding of the chronology, character and significance of the complex. In particular it will include also • Particular emphasis on those parts of the site particularly adaptable to change, • Identify challenges/threats, weaknesses and opportunities within the gunpowder mills complex , • Identify areas which may require further study, • Identify areas particularly suitable for interpretation and access.
