Axlebox Arc Shields for London Underground S-Stock Rolling Stock

<p>As part of Transport for London's (TfL) London Underground (LU) Fleet Heavy Overhaul Programme, market engagement is sought to gather feedback and interest in a potential requirement for the supply of Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) components to support the overhaul of the S-Stock Fleet. This is for the supply and manufacture of Axlebox Arc Shields to LU drawings. The S-Stock Fleet consists of 192 trains across the Circle, Hammersmith &amp; City, District and Metropolitan Lines. This requirement is part of an effort to ensure safety, reliability and performance of trains operating within the London Underground network, each fleet will go through its own overhaul process with varying degrees of scope every 6 to 9 years, stock dependent, with the work being carried out at&nbsp; LU's Railway Engineering Works (REW).&nbsp;</p> <p>Market Engagement is sought to understand market capability and capacity and gather indicative feedback on initial drawings for manufacture. Suppliers are asked to express their interest via ProContract.
