<p>Wellbeing Service for Syrian families who have been resettled in Lewisham</p> <p><u>Market Warming Event</u></p> <p><strong><u> </u></strong></p> <p>In conjunction with the South East London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the London Borough of Lewisham (Council) propose to commission a Wellbeing Service for Syrian families who have been resettled in Lewisham. Families that partakes in this programme are supported across several years as part of their resettlement package (by the Council & the CCG), with a particular focus on their first year where the needs are the highest. The aim, with the right provisions, is to move towards greater independence and integrate the families into mainstream services.</p> <p> </p> <p>The CCG and the Council hopes Providers are able to assist with creating a bespoke service for this disadvantage group. The CCG will undertake service user engagements to ensure the target cohorts are comfortable with the proposals. The market warming event enable Providers to showcase their innovative ideas and good practices to the commissioners.</p> <p>The bespoke service will consist of running community groups, mental health translation services, 1:1 psychosocial supports, community education and engagements. <em>Please note interested parties are not obliged to provide all the mentioned services and can express interest for specific provision(s).</em></p> <p>The market warming event will be held on <strong>21 September 2021 (10am - 12pm) </strong>on Microsoft Teams. If interested, please register and hold the above date & time in your calendar. A Microsoft Teams invite will be sent on 20 September 2021. </p> <p><u>Requirements</u></p> <ul> <li>Providers must have previous experience of working with asylum seekers, refugees and other cohorts of migrants.</li> <li>Have good understanding of Syrian cultures and backgrounds.</li> <li>Work with Lewisham Council and other key stakeholders to ensure an effective running of service.</li> <li>Representatives from the Providers are expected to attend relevant partnership meetings to improve the effectiveness of the service.</li> </ul> Keywords: WELLBEING RESETTTLEMENT
