Tender description

The Anti-Doping Unit (the “ADU”), a division of Sport Ireland, facilitate, through the promulgation of guidelines and codes of practice, standards of good conduct, fair play and the elimination of doping in sport. The ADU wishes to appoint an experienced administrator to assist with the following services (the “Services”): • Receipt and logging of all applications on internal and external data management systems, and filing of all documentation relating to each case. • Liaison with Thereapeutic Use Exemptions Committee i.e. sending applications, monitoring return turnaround, receipt of certificates of approval, dealing with requests for further information, agreeing procedures for processing of applications. Arrange an annual meeting of the TUEC. • Ensuring all applications are dealt with in compliance with World Anti-Doping Agency’s International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions. • Responding to telephone enquiries from stakeholders and maintaining ongoing correspondence, by phone and in writing with applicants and their support personnel (e.g. doctors, coaches, parents) to resolution of any case/issue. For the purposes of providing the Services, Sport Ireland are inviting tenders (“Tenders”) from qualified pharmaceutical organisations who wish to provide the Services (“Tenderers”).
