Tender description

STA action to move forwards with procurement of Scoping Study in order to meet NAO requirements for the FMD sites. No alternate suppliers have experienced of this unique requirement. As a result of the 2001 Foot & Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak in this country, MAFF arranged for the burial of 1.2 million animal carcases at five sites. Currently the NAO are auditing the management and life time costs associated with these burial sites, and to satisfy their requirements, Defra were asked to provide a conceptual model for each site.
