Tender description

The Authority is looking to commission an organisation with a national footprint to disburse grant funding to user led organisations and to individual personal health budget employers of personal assistants (PAs) for the purposes of enabling them to access training for themselves and/or their personal assistants. This will require working at speed to advertise the availability of the fund through established networks and channels, issuing guidance and an application form, and selecting individuals and organisations who can receive the funding. Individual applicants may require significant support to apply and receive the funding. They may also require support in relation to arrangements to attend training including for example the need to arrange backfill for PAs attending training. Follow up to ensure that funding is used in accordance with terms and conditions and to monitor outcomes is required.
