Brief Description of Requirement: UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS), on behalf of The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) wishes to appoint a supplier to undertake the Testing of a selection of building materials for external walls to verify their classification as defined by BS EN 13501-1:2018. The test methods applied should follow those set out in BS EN 13501-1:2018 as applicable to the samples and should be done following the relevant standards for each test, including any normative/informative reference standards: • EN ISO 1182 - Non-combustibility test • EN ISO 1716 - Heat of combustion test • EN 13823 - Single burning item test • EN ISO 11925-2 - Ignitability test Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement.
