Brief Description of Requirement: As we reach Step 4 of the Government's roadmap out of lockdown, many staff will return to the workplace. Many will also continue to work remotely as individuals adopt more flexible working patterns. Our use of, and dependency on platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams will increase sound/noise across occupied areas. This will make audio visual calls more difficult for the participants (both in the office and working remotely) and others working in the vicinity of those on calls. This Procurement therefore seeks proposals for the supply, installation and delivery of 19 x Acoustic Pods: • 17 installed in Polaris House, Swindon • 2 installed in 58 Victoria Embankment, London 8 dual units and 11 singles units will be required however at this stage it is not clear at which sites these will be installed at without knowing the footprint of each item. UKRI will confirm where the dual and single pods are to be installed upon Contract Award. This agreement will be in place to the point of installation, any agreed after sales service and any warranty period. The agreement will not extend to any future purchases beyond the scope of this proposal. Installations to take place no later than the mid-December 2021 in locations at Polaris House, Swindon and 58 Victoria Embankment, London.
