Expression of Interest to Tender for Replacement Fire Alarm System

Tender description

Shropshire Towns and Rural Housing manage a housing stock of approx. 4100 dwellings for Shropshire Council. Properties are tenanted, sheltered and supported housing stock throughout the rural towns and villages in and around Bridgnorth and Oswestry. Applicants are invited to express an interest in tendering for the replacement and upgrade of the fire alarm system at Greenfields Court, Community Centre, Bridgnorth Shropshire. The contract period will be from December 1st 2021 for the installation, followed by a repairs and maintenance contract. This contract will consist of replacing a fire alarm system to a sheltered scheme with 27 apartments and provide category LD2 coverage with an addressable fire alarm system. In addition, each apartment is to have LD1 cover by mains operated Heat and Optical smoke alarms. The contract will also include for future maintenance and repair of the system. The Contract period is initially for 2 years, followed by a review to extend for up to a maximum of 5 years. Following the closing date of the Expression of Interest, Tender packs will be sent to contractors, which will include details of all works to be covered, including future Maintenance.
