Tender description

Following the White Spider Blue Light Data Centre audit, several hardware components of the Blue Light Data Centre infrastructure have reached an end-of-life stage or are fast approaching a point where they will become unsupportable by the manufacturer.This procurement covers the purchase of the necessary Cisco compute hardware components which will safely and reliably maintain the Blue Light Network Infrastructure in the medium term, whilst a full infrastructure replacement is ongoing. The purchase includes Data Centre and CGOC servers and ancillary components that form the core computing facilities of the Blue Light Network. Together these provide operational services to all Coastguard operational locations as well as within the Data Centres.
