Tender description

Government policy is to separate the Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) from the Safety Regulation Division (SRD) of the current Irish Aviation Authority (IAA). The Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) will be integrated with SRD to create a reconstituted IAA. The result is two entities, one commercial semi-state provider of air navigation and related services and the second the aviation regulator covering safety, security and economic regulation. This single-party framework requirement is for the reconstituted IAA (CAR and SRD). It is anticipated that the framework agreement will be of approximately 18 to 24 months duration.
