Tender description

The Board of Management of CBS Roscommon(the “Contracting Authority”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) to this request for tenders (“RFT”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for the supply of the goods as described in Appendix 1 to this RFT (the “Goods”). The Goods are required to be supplied and installed in CBS Roscommon by late October 2021 (provisionally). In summary, the Goods comprise: Construction machinery and tools and consumables, based, mostly on specifications by the Department of Education (DE) for post-primary schools. This public procurement competition (the “Competition) is one Lot. Tenderers must be able to supply each item on the specification list as per the Lot tendered for as provided in the specification and descriptions documents accompanying this RFT document and must provide the relevant price in the excel pricing worksheet also. An incomplete Lot will not be considered. Note: some lists contain more than one section, in such cases the Lot comprises of all sections mentioned. Tenderers must be aware that there will only be a tight opportunity from purchase order placement and for delivery and installation. If the successful Tenderer cannot meet the delivery requirements they state, the Contracting Authority has the prerogative to procure from the second highest ranked Tenderer. The Lots; Lot 1 – Construction Studies / Wood Technology equipment lists A and B to include hand tools and power tools, machine tools and storage, digital technologies and computer aided manufacture. We do not require all items from the DE list. Pricing Documents The relevant pricing document must be completed as part of the Tenderer’s submission.
