DN563843 Supported Employment Provider for Supported Internships

Tender description

Existing contract DN 483338 finishes at end of August 2021. Due to delays in getting out to procurement the new contract will not be in place until 1/11/21 at the earliest. Therefore we need an interim arrangement to pay the current contract holder to continue to deliver the service. Failure to deliver the service will result in 22 young people with learning difficulties and/or autism being unable to start their supported internship, leading to reduce employment rates in this vulnerable group and significant reputational damage for LCC. Note the quote from HFT is in two parts. One to cover 6/9/21 to 31/10/21 (a 56 day period), at a cost of £11,200. The second is to deal with any slippages in the contract start date (due to be 1/11/21) to cover the month of November, this would be an additional £6,000 (a further 30 day period).
