<p>Liverpool Streetscene Services Ltd (LSSL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Liverpool City Council (LCC) and was formed in March 2016 to deliver a number of essential services across the city of Liverpool; Refuse &amp; Recycling, Street Cleansing, Highways Maintenance, Parks and Grounds Maintenance. The company has an estimated annual turnover of circa &pound;26million. Historically the &lsquo;fleet management compliance systems&rsquo; have been done with paper and spreadsheets. This has an administrative burden and requires duplication of work processes. Existing Processes The current recording processes are paper based and whilst proven robust and compliant, it presents numerous challenges. In line with an increased customer shift to digitalisation, and with increasing demands on LSSL to deliver efficiency savings and provide an improved service, the leadership team is keen to utilise technology to support a number of key transformation goals including; 1. An end-to-end robust digital fleet management software, which can be viewed in real time. 2. An improved and secure database reducing risk within LSSL and with KPI dashboard viewing. 3. Streamlined business processes removing large amounts of unnecessary paperwork and the duplication of tasks across all departments. 4. Increased business intelligence &ndash; using data to drive efficiencies and service improvements. 5. Vehicle maintenance repairs via workshop in real time, providing clear audit trails 6.
