Tender description

There are currently 120 Traffic Management CCTV installations in the County Kildare area. There are 3 main categories of camera and various types of cameras within those categories, and these are connected to the Traffic Management Centre (TMC) in Naas via via a wireless radio communications network. This contract provides for the maintenance of the CCTV cameras plus the communications network which supports them and in addition, provides for general works which may include the installation of additional CCTV equipment and related communications and network infrastructure. Both the CCTV and the wireless communications network infrastructure equipment (including poles, other associated equipment) form part of this maintenance contract as well as general works associated with any new equipment installations. The requirements of this Contract include, but are not limited to, the maintenance and general works via task orders including the following: • CCTV Maintenance including poles, masts, extension poles, brackets, cables, cabinets, fixtures, transmission units, aerials, power supply units, analogue and analytic CCTV units and all other CCTV related equipment at each location; • Maintenance /expansion if necessary of the communications network • CCTV out-station equipment testing. •General Works which may include the installation of additional CCTV equipment and related communications and network infrastructure. • Maintenance of fibre optic communications equipment, where necessary; • Maintenance of entire CCTV communications network incuding Wireless and Radio Link communication equipment • Maintenance of all In-station Traffic Management Centre CCTV equipment Equipment including recording equipment, servers, sonic walls, screens, cabinets, UPS, hard drives, fans, filters and monitors.etc. Maintenance of all In-station Communications equipment; See ITT, Particulars Section for full requirements listing and all contract documents for detailed requirements.
