(NU/1664) The Supply and Installation of Autoclaves

Tender description

The scope of the contract is for the delivery, installation, and commissioning of 2 square section autoclaves to be fed from piped steam supply, to replace an existing aging facility currently operating in the faculty. The facility operates a central service offering sterilisation services to the research community within the building. The proposed autoclaves must be reliable and designed to work in shared facility where they we will be used several times a day, over 5 days a week for 45 weeks of the year. Suppliers should provide an option to purchase a further autoclave which may be taken up within a year of purchase of the other 2 autoclaves.
