Tender description

Removal and disposal at sea of sediment from the sites to the required dredge design levels, as indicated on the contract drawings. Estimated volumes (subject to final remeasurement) at each of the sites is provided in the Bill of Quantities. The method of removal and disposal of the sediments is to be determined by the contractor but is required to follow the statutory licence requirements and all appropriate and current legislation. The works shall achieve the following criteria: • Restore the seabed level within each of the sites to the lines and levels indicated on the contract drawings. • Disposal of all sediments to the respective approved disposal locations. • Compliance with all requirements, as outlined by the statutory licences. • Satisfy the scope of the contract, and in particular requirements which have been set with respect to the proposed order of the works including phasing and sectional completion involving multiple sites.
