Gas Detection and Maintenance, All Campuses

Tender description

During the term of this Contract, the Contractor shall provide to the University Servicing and Maintenance of the equipment listed in Document 6 – Commercial Submission. This will include the inspection, testing, repairs and where specified end of life replacement of the gas detection equipment biannually as outlined in Document 6. The contractor will also provide 24-hour call-out and emergency service in respect of the various Gas Detection System installations listed within Document 6 on all four campuses 365 days per year. Repairs to sensors, detectors and other associated equipment will be on an all-inclusive basis (with exclusions for misuse and abuse). Repairs and replacement of Gas Detection control panels should be excluded from the price of this contract. However, the contractor will be expected to respond to callouts for faulty panels within the 4-hour response time of the contract. Prices for the replacement of Gas detection panels will be submitted in the commercial submission of this tender. These agreed prices will remain for the duration of the contract. The contract will last initially for 2 years and 9 months with the option for extensions of any duration up to a maximum of 24 additional months
