Tender description

The Council are looking to bring forward the development of 16No. sheltered housing apartments (1 and 2-bedroom) on land owned by the Council at the corner of Station Road and the A27 in Portchester. The Council intend to maintain ownership of the properties which will be let as affordable housing for older persons. Initially one of the ground floor flats will be set out to provide a temporary communal lounge and office space, whilst being ready to be easily converted to a flat at a later date. The site has full planning permission. The building consists of a single block, two and three storeys in height, with PV panels and the inclusion of a lift. There is a separate bin store and need for boundary treatments, including the incorporation of retaining wall in parts. Keywords: Housing Development
