DOJ 3698388C Upgrade of Fire Mains, Water Storage Tank and External Water Mains, HMP Maghaberry

Tender description

The Works shall comprise the replacement of underground fire and potable water mains with SDR 11 PE100 pipework together with a new potable Water Storage Compound comprising 2 Nr 288,000 litre tanks and 2 Nr Plantrooms (1 Nr Incoming Water Treatment and Boosting and 1 Nr Outgoing Water Boosting). A specialist telemetry system shall be included within each Plantroom to control and monitor outgoing pump pressure, pump rotation, metering and tank use balancing and a BMS shall be installed to provide system and temperature monitoring of the potable water systems. All of the Works shall be undertaken in accordance wi.th the significant security constraints and operational requirements of the Prison Authority. All Contractor’s personnel shall be required to obtain CTC security clearance before access is permitted to HMP Maghaberry.
