ASC0255 - Leicester Specialist Substance Misuse Service

Tender description

Leicester City Council led the procurement for a Specialist Substance Misuse Service on behalf of Leicester City Council, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire and teh National Probation Service. The procurement of this service has now concluded and the contract awarded. Services procured were as detailed in the tender documentation. See also II.2.4 below. Lot 1: The Service will cover the geographic area of Leicester. Interventions include; advice, information and guidance, assessment and care coordination, harm reduction and needle exchange, psycho-social interventions, clinical and pharmacological interventions, primary and secondary healthcare liaison and support, peer mentoring and volunteer programme, pharmacy liaison and support, mutual aid and referral to and arrangements for inpatient detoxification and residential rehabilitation.
