Supply of Mobile Inspection & Brake Testing Unit

Tender description

The DVSA seek to notify the market of mobile inspection and brake testing units. The Prior Information Notice is to make the market aware of the potential upcoming requirement for the the supply of a transportable unit for the purpose of mobile inspection and brake testing including the associated testing and inspection inspection equipment. Intreasted suppliers should register on the DfT e-sourcing portal for access to upcoming RFI. Should the requirement progress to ITT this will be hosted on the e-sourcing portal. Lot 1: Supply of mobile inspection and break testing unit. Mobile inspection unit shall include appropriate equipment for carrying out a detailed technical roadside inspection, including the equipment necessary to assess the condition of the brakes and brake efficiency, steering, suspension and nuisance of the vehicle as required. Solution must be capable of brake testing all vehicle types (M1, M2, M3, N1, N2, N3, O1, O2, O3, O4) to Construction & Use (C&U) and Annual Test requirements. Associated maintenance, calibration, technical and breakdown services may also be required. Further details and draft specication will be supplied during RFI released via the Jaggaer e-sourcing portal.
