Tender description

The RAF is looking for a solution that will act as a ‘Virtual’ Control Tower that focuses on identifying and enabling the optimal utilisation of vehicles and drivers to fulfil the movement of passengers and freight at and across RAF Stations. The solution should bring together data from a variety of existing sources and present the full transport picture at a local, regional, and national level. It should enable real time visibility of demands and present users/ authorisers with data driven options to improve fleet and driver utilisation. All processes should be transparent with the aim of: increasing utilisation of vehicles and drivers, reduce down time and wasted journeys whilst supporting the RAF’s sustainability goals. In addition it is requested that responses to this RFI include rough order of magnitude costs including Initial/ CapEx costs and Ongoing/ OpEx costs.
