Provision of Strategic Partner for Monitoring of Noise, Dust and Vibration across the University Estate

Tender description

An integral part of the University’s capital development process involves undertaking due diligence assements of the impact of demolition and construction on the environment local to the site(s), particularly relating to the impact of noise, dust and vibration. This procurement is for a single supplier, to act as a strategic partner contracted for the provision of all aspects of Noise, Dust and Vibration Consultancy Services including Demolition and Construction (Environmental Monitoring). Lot 1: The University’s Capital Development Programme includes the potential for refurbishment, demolition and new build schemes at any of its campus sites; including (but not limited to) at Southampton General Hospital, the Winchester School of Arts Campus and the National Oceanographic Centre (NOCS) also based in Southampton. This procurement is for a single supplier, contracted for the provision of Noise, Dust and Vibration Consultancy Services including Demolition and Construction Environmental Monitoring covering works projects across multiple University sites. This 'Open Procedure' will apply to this procurement. The University proposes to enter into a Contract for a maximum term of 6 years this will be the maximum contract period, including any potential extensions with the successful tenderer. This will comprise of an initial contract period of 4 year with an option to extend by a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the University. Lots: this contract is not suitable for splitting into lots. The risk of dividing the requirement into lots would render the execution of the contract excessively technically difficult, not cost effective and would undermine proper execution of the contract.
