PHE_Scientific_Provision of XCEED Gloves

Tender description

Public Health England (PHE) has awarded a contract to Starlab UK Ltd under Lot 3 (Gloves) of the Laboratory Consumables & Chemicals IRLA Framework (LAB4040 SU). The contract will be agency-wide and enable the PHE laboratories to continue their core business function. These specialised gloves are crucial due to the level of protection they have otherwise they are rendered useless for the labs. These gloves offer good dexterity and grip for stronger protection which is critical for the work carried out by the laboratories such as constant manual pipetting. The Goods are to be delivered initially to PHE Colindale Site but if required the goods are to be delivered to Public Health England Laboratories Nationwide and including NHS Trust sites if necessary. The Contract will commence on 23 July 2021 and the initial period will end on 22 July 2022.
