Tender description

This contract has now been awarded to Ocean ADV Ltd on 8th July 2021. Contract notice to carry out remedial works (upgrade /replacement) and ongoing preventative maintenance on Power Operated Gates, Shutters, Doors and Barriers in Dublin City Council. There are approximately 620 in total that may require works and maintenance to be carried out from this framework although additional units may be identified throughout the course of this framework. Works contracts may be awarded for remedial works only, preventative maintenance only, or both remedial works and preventative maintenance depending on the requirements of the Contracting Authority (CA). The type of power operated units covered by this framework are; Sliding Gates, Swing Gates, Roller Shutters, Roller Doors, Traffic Barriers, Fire Curtains, Powered Turnstiles, Rotating Pedestrian Doors, Sliding Pedestrian Doors, and Large Manual Roller Doors. Applicants should note that it will be a requirement of the Frameworks that if a Framework Member (FM) is contacted to replace a unit or carry out upgrade works on a unit that constitute a material change to the operation of the unit (as per the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC) the FM must provide a Declaration of Conformity for that unit as well as all the necessary safety file documentation. It will be a requirement of the Frameworks that contractors are Private Security Authority (PSA) registered. We will use PW-CF9 to form the Frameworks and we will use PW-CF6 for each individual contact awarded under the frameworks. Please refer to attached documentation for further information. Lot 171362: Lot 1 Multi-party framework agreement for Remedial Works and Preventative Maintenance for Power Operated Units in all departments of Dublin City Council (excluding Dublin Fire Brigade) There are approximately 500 in total that may require works and maintenance to be carried out from this framework although additional units may be identified throughout the course of this framework. Lot 171624: Lot 2 Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) - Multi-party framework agreement for Remedial Works and Preventative Maintenance for Power Operated Units in Dublin Fire Brigade, Dublin City Council Under this framework, approx. 133 units may require works/preventative maintenance (PM) and additional units may be identified. Any PM contract awarded on this framework will include a call out requirement of 24hr, 365 days a year with a 4hr max response time. Please refer to attached SAQ and associated documentation for Lot 2 for further information. Submissions must be sent via the eTenders websites, electronic postbox facility ONLY.
