Leisure Facilities Procurement and Operational Options

SOFT MARKET TESTING QUESTIONNAIRE ONLY The Council are hoping that potential bidders will complete the questionnaire to enables us to identify the best route to market. The Council is currently operating four existing leisure facilities under a contract with West Lancashire Community Leisure Trust and Serco that expires on 31st March 2022. These facilities are; Beacon Park Golf Course, Burscough Racquets and Fitness Centre, Nye Bevan Pool in Skelmersdale and Park Pool Ormskirk. It is intended that a procurement exercise for a new contract will commence in October 2021 with a view to having a new operational contract in place in 2022. To support this exercise the Council wishes to carry out an early market engagement exercise with potential operational partners to obtain their views on a number of potential procurement approaches.
