Great Yellow Bumblebee EIP - Project Ecologist and Project Officer

Tender description

The Great Yellow Bumblebee Conservation Group is conducting a project to develop a pilot results-based EIP which will be designed and implemented across approximately thirty participant farms on the Mullet Peninsula and Erris mainland, Co. Mayo. The project aims to produce a conservation plan to increase populations and expand the range of the Great Yellow Bumblebee by working with farmers. The project will pilot a results-based payment for farmers which would benefit the rare Great Yellow Bumblebee, other native pollinators, and local biodiversity. The Great Yellow Bumblebee Conservation group wish to contract a Project Ecology and Project Officer to oversee the running of the project.
