Tender description

To develop evidence-based versions of farms with different levels of profitability, in a way that covers the main business factors behind agricultural profitability (e.g. crop rotations, fixed costs, gross margins). This is essential evidence to calculate payment rates for the Sustainable Farming Incentive, which may need to be calculated based on higher performing farming systems. The second piece of work is to provide an evidence-led, independent assessment of how often payment rate data should be revised. This will support E.L.M payments policy position on how often payment rates should be reviewed.
