Tender description

This contract award is for - The Environment Agency which has a statutory duty to protect the environment from pollution. In order to do this, staff across the Agency frequently require information and advice on chemicals and their effects on the environment. To meet this need, ETAS provides technical support to enquiries from staff across the Agency, including for example, Operations, Environment and Business and National Permitting. Most enquiries relate to the fate and effects of chemicals on environmental receptors/human health as well as potential sources of chemicals in the environment. Although enquirers usually have a technical background, they are not usually specialists in chemistry or toxicology, therefore the supplier is required to provide 24/7 assistance with this.
