Tender description

The Care Act 2014 requires LAs to arrange Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs) by an independent author where an adult has died as a result of abuse or neglect and there are concerns that agencies could have worked together more effectively to protect the adult. We currently have 6 cases that require SARs and will go through the procurement process to commission authors , although there is a national shortage of authors. Three cases are outstanding from 2018-2020 and this author is available to undertake two SARs and has been commissioned previously by LCC Community Services for a Liverpool joint DHR/SAR and we are satisfied with the standard of work and reports.
